Windows 10 Compatibility

Version 5.0 of SWAN is fully compatible with Windows 10.

Versions 3.2 and 4.0.1 of SWAN may fail when running VFSMod on some Windows 10 installations.  A hotfix patch is provided with the installers to make the installation compatible with Windows 10; see the “README” for further details.  This hotfix is provided for the convenience of users but for full Windows 10 compatibility, users should update to SWAN 5.  No hotfix is available for the portable edition of SWAN 4.0.1.

Multiple SWAN Installations

SWAN 3.2 can be installed alongside either SWAN 4.0.1 or SWAN 5.

SWAN 4.0.1 and SWAN 5 are mutually exclusive, but SWAN 5 is compatible with projects using the SWASH toolset associated with SWAN 4.
